NON RESIDENT VISA

Passports of the United States of America:

1. Visa Application form fully completed, in duplicate.

2. Passport: the Consulate will not issue a Visa without the original Passport. The Passport must be valid for at least six (6) months.

3. Two (2) passport size color pictures.

4. Multiple Entry Visa US$ 65.00. The Consulate accepts cash, money orders and company checks, payable to the CONSULATE OF PARAGUAY. No personal checks.

5. The applicant’s personal appearance can be excused. In that case, the application must be sent by express mail or courier service and it must include a self addressed pre-paid return envelope, in order to send the Passport back to the applicant. Applicants are advised to retain the corresponding TRACKING NUMBER; THE CONSULATE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSING DOCUMENTS BY DELIVERY SERVICES.

6. Minors under 18 years old cannot sign the Visa application; it must be signed by the Father and the Mother or by the legal custodian. If the parents or the custodian are not traveling with the minor, they must authorize the trip in writing, by appearing in person at the Consulate to sign the Visa Application before the Consular Agent; alternatively they can submit a written travel authorization signed before a Notary Public. They must also submit to the Consulate copies of the following documents: minor's Birth Certificate, passports or valid ID cards of the parents or the custodian and document of legal custody (if applicable).

7. Additional documents are required if the applicant plans to stay in Paraguay longer than 3 months. Please contact the Consulate.

Passports of other countries. In addition to above 7 requirements, the applicant must submit the following documents:

8. Two (2) copies of round trip itinerary to Paraguay from Airline/Travel Agency. Computer print out is accepted.

9. Two (2) copies of a document showing financial solvency: Tourists may submit a bank statement or a bank letter. A company letter is accepted in case of business trip.

10. Two (2) copies of a document showing the current address: Driver License or State ID or phone/utility statement with the current address.

11. Two (2) copies of a document showing legal stay in the United States. Residents: Green Card. Non Residents: valid U.S. Visa + I-94 form. Students: valid U.S. Visa + I-20 form.
